1951 NW 7th Avenue
Suite 600
Miami, FL 33136

You can schedule an appointment by clicking the link on our website or by contacting us directly. Feel free to email, call, or text us at 305-858-6616, and our team will assist you.
How do I know if Supermind will work for me?
Every individual’s experience is unique. Many clients find that the level of focus, engagement, and consistency they bring to each session plays an important role in their results. We encourage you to approach the program with openness, commitment, and willingness to practice the mental fitness exercises between sessions.
After your Brainwave Map, we provide an overview of what your personalized journey may look like based on your goals and patterns. While experiences vary, most clients notice meaningful shifts when they stay engaged and committed to the process.
How do I know if it’s working?
People often recognize progress in a few different ways:
- Internal shifts: You may begin to feel calmer, clearer, or more centered as you work with the tools.
- Brainwave insights: We review your brainwave patterns throughout the program and share how they are evolving.
- Reflections from others: Friends, family, or colleagues may notice changes in your presence, energy, or behavior as you integrate the work.
Your coach will help you reflect on your experience so you can track the changes that feel most meaningful to you.
What ages are appropriate for Supermind?
Supermind is suitable for a wide range of ages. We have experience working with young children, teens, adults, and seniors. If you have specific questions about your situation or a family member, we’re happy to discuss whether the program is a good fit.
Where will the session be conducted?
Your session will take place in one of our private offices, designed to offer a comfortable, quiet, and discreet environment for your experience.
Parking & Arrival
Where do I park?
There is a large on-site parking lot with an entrance on NW 7th Avenue between NW 19th Street and NW 18th Street. Simply take a ticket at the gate and park in any available spot. Parking typically costs around $5. Your directions will lead you straight to our building.
Do you validate parking?
We do not offer parking validation at this time.
Where do I go after I park?
Enter the building and check in with the front security desk. Let them know you’re visiting Supermind, and they will direct you to the 6th floor. A team member will greet you either at the elevators or in the waiting area right outside them on the leather sofa in front of the cafe.
Comfort Guidelines
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing so you feel relaxed during your session. The room can run cool due to building A/C, so you may want to bring a sweater. Blankets are also available if you’d like to stay warm.
Can I drink caffeine beforehand?
Come as you normally would. If you typically drink caffeine, feel free to do so; if you don’t, that’s perfectly fine as well. The only exception is if caffeine tends to make you feel more anxious—if so, you may want to avoid it before your session.
Should I eat beforehand?
Your comfort is the priority. You may eat whatever you like before your session. There is no need to fast or come on an empty stomach for the Brainwave Map or training sessions.
When can I use the restroom?
We recommend using the restroom before your session so you can relax without interruption. If you need a break at any point, just let us know—we’re happy to pause the session.
What about my hair?
Because we use a light conductive paste to attach the sensors to your scalp, you may want to bring a brush, comb, or any hair products you prefer if you have plans afterward. The paste washes out easily with water.
Brainwave Mind Map Experience
What is the experience of the Mind Map like?
During the Brainwave Map, sensors are placed on your scalp using a gentle conductive paste. You may feel a slight cooling sensation, but the process is noninvasive and comfortable. The sensors simply measure electrical activity—they do not provide stimulation of any kind.
What are you assessing in the Mind Map?
During the Brainwave Map, we collect hundreds of EEG data points while you complete a series of simple exercises. We analyze brainwave patterns and ratios to understand how your brain organizes activity across different regions. The results help us personalize your Supermind program based on your goals and the patterns we observe.
About EEG Biofeedback, also known as Neurofeedback or Brainwave Training
What is neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback—also known as EEG biofeedback—is a wellness-based training approach that uses real-time brainwave measurements to provide feedback through sounds or visuals. This feedback helps you develop greater awareness of your internal states and learn how to work with your brainwave patterns more intentionally.
What are you measuring during the session?
During a neurofeedback session, sensors on your scalp measure different types of brainwave activity, including gamma, beta, alpha, theta, and delta waves. These patterns give us insight into how your brain is functioning in the moment and help us tailor your training experience.
When will I start to feel the benefits?
Everyone’s experience is different. Some people notice internal shifts early on, while for others the changes are more gradual. Frequency of sessions, engagement with the tools, and personal readiness all play a role. We encourage you to be patient, stay consistent, and share observations with your coach so the training can be adjusted to support you.
What do leading medical institutions say about biofeedback?
Biofeedback is recognized by many major institutions as a mind-body technique used to support self-regulation. Here are two publicly available descriptions:
Cleveland Clinic
“Biofeedback (biofeedback therapy) is an alternative medicine approach that teaches you to change the way your body functions. It’s a mind-body therapy that may improve your physical and mental health.”
Source: Cleveland Clinic website
Mayo Clinic
“Biofeedback is a type of mind-body technique you use to control some of your body’s functions, such as your heart rate, breathing patterns and muscle responses.”
Source: Mayo Clinic website
These descriptions refer to biofeedback broadly and are provided for informational context.
Risks and Side Effects
Are there any risks involved?
Brainwave training—also known as EEG biofeedback or neurofeedback—is generally considered safe and non-invasive. Most people tolerate it well. Some individuals may experience temporary side effects as they engage in the self-reflective or emotionally activating aspects of the work. These effects are usually mild and short-lived.
What are the most common side effects?
Clients occasionally report temporary sensations such as:
- Fatigue or drowsiness
- Mild headaches
- Temporary sleep disruption
- Cognitive fog or feeling “off”
- Emotional discomfort, such as irritability, anxiety, restlessness, or mood swings
- Heightened sensory sensitivity
These effects typically resolve on their own as the brain and nervous system adjust to the training.
Could I feel emotional discomfort?
Yes. Because the program involves self-reflection and practices that bring awareness to internal patterns, some clients may experience emotional or physical discomfort during the process. These responses are usually temporary. We encourage you to communicate openly with your coach and notify us of any experiences you’d like support with.
How do side effects compare to normal coaching or therapy?
The types of temporary discomfort clients sometimes experience during Supermind are generally similar to those reported in coaching or talk therapy, where self-reflection can stir emotional or cognitive activation. These effects are typically milder than those associated with more intensive clinical treatments such as medications, TMS, or EMDR.
What’s my responsibility as a client?
Clients acknowledge that self-reflective work may sometimes evoke challenging thoughts or feelings. If anything arises that feels overwhelming or impacts your safety or wellbeing, we ask that you seek support from a licensed healthcare professional. Our team is here to guide you, but we do not provide medical or psychological treatment.
What does Supermind do to minimize risks and side effects?
We follow a comprehensive 10-point quality and safety plan designed to create a stable, supportive, and well-supervised experience. This includes structured program guardrails that sequence sessions intentionally, standardized coaching procedures to ensure the method is delivered safely, and post-session brainwave reviews to confirm that your patterns are moving in the right direction before progressing. We use clear interpretation guidelines for identifying resistance or dysregulation, and incorporate pre- and post-session check-ins to monitor how you’re feeling in real time. Client feedback forms provide an additional lens for tracking wellbeing, while emotional-distress protocols offer guidance for moments of activation. A daily quality-control loop allows our team to continually review client data for consistency and safety, and escalation procedures outline the steps for pausing or referring clients when certain indicators appear. Together, this 10-point system helps ensure that every aspect of your program feels grounded, intentional, and deeply supported.
Are there any contraindications?
Certain conditions require careful consideration before participating in Supermind. While each person is evaluated individually, the following diagnoses may indicate that the program is not an appropriate fit:
- Schizophrenia
- Bipolar Disorder
- Narcissistic Personality Disorder
If any of these conditions are part of your history, please let us know so we can discuss your situation and ensure the program is aligned with your needs. Supermind is a wellness program and is not designed as a treatment for clinical mental health conditions.
Can I keep taking my medication?
Yes. You may continue taking your prescribed medications while participating in Supermind. We do not make recommendations regarding medication changes.
Should I stop taking my medication?
We cannot advise you on medication. Supermind is not a medical provider, and we do not offer medical or psychiatric guidance. Please consult with your prescribing doctor before making any changes to your medication plan.
What if I am deaf or hearing impaired?
Supermind’s brainwave training relies heavily on auditory feedback tones. Individuals who are deaf or have significant hearing impairment may not be able to participate in certain protocols. While some visual-only approaches exist, they do not replicate the full experience of our core training.
If hearing is a concern, we’re happy to discuss whether the program could be adapted or if an alternative approach would be more appropriate.
